This illustration depicts the video game Grim Fandango; a play on words to a "dance with death". The title is apt because the jazz music and spectral scenes of a Día de los Muertos afterlife whisked me away. The inviting characters Manny, Meche, and the large demon Cletus are to leave the viewer mystified. Together, they welcome the pondering of death and its intrigues. Famously quoted "You know, sweetheart, if there's one thing I've learned, it's this: nobody knows what's gonna happen at the end of the line, so you might as well enjoy the trip."
